A man will face court today after being charged over the alleged trespass at an Australian Defence Force (ADF) facility on the Coffs Coast overnight.
Just before 11pm (Sunday 20 September 2020), emergency services were contacted after a man was located caught in razor wire atop a security fence at an ADF facility at Coffs Harbour.
Numerous ADF officers rendered assistance until the arrival of officers from Coffs/Clarence Police District, who freed the man a short time later.
He was subsequently treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus for numerous lacerations and exhaustion.
Following his release from hospital, the 43-year-old Coffs Harbour man was taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station and charged with trespass on prohibited Commonwealth land and breach of bail.
He was refused bail to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court today (Monday 21 September 2020).
