Police arrest man after GPS tracks stolen bike

Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man after the GPS on a stolen bike led them to the alleged offender.

Its alleged the $4000 bike was stolen from the garage of the Elsternwick apartment block on the 16 August.

Detectives used GPS tracker to arrest the St Kilda East man yesterday during which time they recovered the bike.

The 31-year-old St Kilda East man was charged with handle stolen goods and bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court in February.
