Police arrest man after shooting at Morphett Vale, South Australia

A man has been arrested after allegedly shooting another man at Morphett Vale.

Just after 4pm, Thursday 23 December, the victim - a 40-year-old from Beverley, presented at Noarlunga Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Police will allege the victim was shot by a man known to him at a block of units in Waverley Way.

Police along with STAR Group officers, attended the address and arrested the 35-year-old Morphett Vale man. He has been charged with attempt murder and refused bail to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court tomorrow.

The victim has been transferred to the Flinders Medical Centre where his injuries have been assessed as non-life threatening.
