Police arrest man after Truganina warrant

Detectives from Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit have charged a 20-year-old Truganina man following a number of incidents in Truganina, Werribee and Williams Landing.

Police allege an aggravated burglary occurred in Larnook Crescent, Truganina about 9.30pm on 10 April.

About 11pm on the same night a property in Starflower Way, Truganina was broken into and a motorcycle stolen.

About 12.05am on 11 April a food deliver driver was robbed of his phone and cash in Westmeadows Lane, Truganina.

A service station was damaged in Derrimut Road, Werribee a short time later and on 13 April about 9.30pm an armed robbery occurred at a service station on Sayers Road, Williams Landing.

Fortunately no one was injured during the incidents

Police executed a warrant at an address in Tylden Way, Truganina Road about 4.15pm today and arrested the 20-year-old.

He has been charged with aggravated burglary, attempted aggravated burglary, armed robbery, attempted armed robbery and other offences.

He is expected to face Melbourne Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
