Police arrest man and woman after stabbing - Chatswood

A man and a woman have been arrested following an alleged stabbing on Sydney's Lower North Shore overnight.

About 12.40am (Wednesday 21 April 2021), emergency services responded to reports a man had been stabbed on Archer Street, Chatswood.

Upon arrival, officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command located a 29-year-old man in a car with a stab wound to his leg.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene, before he was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.

Detectives established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the incident.

A short time later, a 32-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested on Archer Street near the scene.

They were taken to Chatswood Police Station, where they are assisting police with their investigations.

Inquiries are continuing.
