Police arrest man and woman for drug supply - Strike Force Petal

A man and woman have been arrested in an ongoing police drug sweep at Redfern in inner-Sydney.

About 3pm today (Wednesday 13 June 2019), officers attached to Redfern Police Area Command identified two alleged suspects in a vehicle in Gadigal Avenue at Waterloo.

The 30-year-old man and 28-year-old woman were arrested and taken to Redfern Police Station.

The pair is currently assisting police and charges are yet to be laid.

Strike Force Petal was established to disrupt and stop the distribution of illicit drugs, including heroin and crystal methylamphetamine (Ice), in the Redfern area.

Police are also seeking help from the community to identify dealers of illicit drugs.
