Police arrest man for attempt murder, South Australia

A man has been arrested for attempt murder after a incident in Aldinga Beach last night.

Just after 9.30pm, Thursday 4 July, police were tasked to Storey Avenue after reports of an assault.

Upon arrival, police located a man with significant head injuries. Paramedics attended the scene and treated the man, before taking him to the Flinders Medical Centre where he remains in a stable condition.

Southern District detectives investigating the incident arrested a man at the scene.

This is not a random attack and it's believed the two men know each other.

A 28-year-old man from Aldinga Beach has been charged with attempt murder. He has been refused bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court later today.
