Police arrest man for breach of Covid directions, South Australia

A man has been arrested at a medi-hotel for allegedly breaching directions this morning.

About 1pm on Tuesday 12 October, police attended a medi-hotel in the CBD, where a 42-year-old man from Victoria was arrested and charged him with failing to comply with a direction under the Emergency Management Act.

He has been refused bail and will likely appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.

The man's young daughter, who was residing with him at the hotel, was taken by SA Ambulance officers and is in the care of SA Health.
