A man has been arrested for a robbery at St Clair earlier this week.
About 2am today Wednesday 20 May, police saw a Jeep SUV travelling on Hanson Road, Mansfield Park.
It will be alleged the man was involved in a robbery in the car park of a group of units at St Clair on Sunday night, where the victim had a gold chain snatched from around his neck. The suspects left in a white Jeep.
The driver of the Jeep spotted police and took off through backstreets.
The car was later located parked in the driveway of an home at The Avenue, Athol Park.
Police surrounded the property later locating the suspect where he was arrested without incident.
The 41-year-old man from Mansfield Park was charged with robbery and his bail was refused.
It is expected he will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
