Police arrest man over burglary, theft and driving offences

Moreland Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man over several burglary, theft, and driving offences across Melbourne last month.

A 34-year-old man was wanted over alleged incidents on the 12, 24, and 26 February, including alleged high-risk driving.

The Sunshine West man was arrested in Dallas yesterday, where it is alleged a stolen motor vehicle and ammunition were recovered.

He has been charged with aggravated burglary, multiple thefts, theft of a motor vehicle, evade police, dangerous driving whilst pursued by police, reckless conduct endangering life, intentional exposure of police officer to risk by driving and possess cartridge ammunition without licence or permit.

He has been remanded to appear before Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.
