Police arrest man over hotel robbery at Queenstown, South Australia

A man has been arrested following the investigation into a hotel robbery at Queenstown last month.

About 6.15pm on Saturday 25 June, police were called to a hotel on Port Road after a man armed with a knife entered the premises and threatened staff. The man stole cash before leaving on foot, and was last seen heading south on Port Road.

Thankfully no one was physically injured.

Yesterday, Detectives from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch arrested a 34-year-old man from Queenstown and charged him with aggravated robbery. He has been refused police bail and is expected to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
