A man was arrested after another man was allegedly stabbed in the leg at Ottoway in the early hours of this morning.
Police and paramedics were called to Cleveland Terrace, Ottoway about 5.15am on Wednesday 15 July by reports of an assault.
A 40-year-old Adelaide man was taken to hospital by ambulance with a stab wound to the leg. His injury is not described as serious or life-threatening.
Following investigations by Western District CIB detectives, a 47-year-old Northern Territory man was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated assault cause harm.
He was refused police bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
Crime scene investigators will attend and examine the scene this morning.
Police wish to reassure the local community that this was not a random incident, and the people involved are known to each other.
