Police arrest man over stabbing at Port Noarlunga South, South Australia

A man has been arrested following a stabbing at Port Noarlunga South this morning.

About 4am today (Monday 26 July), police were called to an address on Oxford Street at Port Noarlunga South after a report of a disturbance.

Police found a 27-year-old man with stab wounds to the abdomen. He was rushed to Flinders Medical Centre with serious injuries. His condition is potentially life-threatening.

A 21-year-old Port Noarlunga South man was arrested at the scene.

A 47-year-old man from the address was taken to Noarlunga Hospital with lacerations to the hands.

Investigations are continuing.

Police believe the men are known to each other and that this was not a random incident.
