Police have arrested a 30-year-old man after a suspicious house fire at Ashmore this morning.
Around 11.10am, police were called to a disturbance at a residence on Walabah Drive.
Shortly after the house was fully engulfed in fire.
Firefighters attended and quickly extinguished the fire. Police declared a crime scene around 12.20pm.
No one was injured during the incident but the house sustained significant damage.
Following investigations, police arrested a 30-year-old Surfers Paradise man nearby at Ashmore around 3.10pm.
Charges are yet to be laid.
