Police arrest pair after Noble Park attempted carjacking

Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man and woman following an attempted carjacking in Noble Park this afternoon.

Investigators have been told a man and woman approached a vehicle waiting to turn right from Camellia Avenue onto Elonera Road about midday on 26 March.

Detectives have been told a struggle ensued between the pair and the driver before the driver managed to drive away and the pair fled south along Camellia Avenue.

A 37-year-old Noble Park man and a 24-year-old Loch Sport woman were arrested a short time later by police in Camellia Avenue.

The pair continue to assist police with their enquiries.

Detectives are appealing for the driver of the vehicle to come forward.
