Police Arrest Seven Teens After Pursuit At Craigmore

Seven teenage boys were arrested following a police pursuit at Craigmore this morning.

Police spotted a black Nissan heading west on Blakeview Boulevard, Blakeview about 11.10am on Wednesday 1 April. The vehicle failed to stop for police and was pursued through the northern suburbs.

The Nissan was dumped in Blackwood Drive, Craigmore about 11.30am, with several people seen running from the vehicle.

Patrols quickly cordoned off the area and searched for the suspects with the assistance of Police Dogs Bomber and Edge.

Seven suspects were found in surrounding streets.

The boys, aged 14, 14, 14, 15, 15, 16 and 17, were arrested and charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle.

The boys were refused bail or did not apply and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court tomorrow.

Investigations are continuing.

The Nissan Dualis was reported stolen from outside an Elizabeth Downs address overnight.

It was towed away for forensic examination.
