Police arrest teens over Kingswood robbery

Two youths were arrested after an aggravated robbery at a Kingswood servo overnight.

Just before 2.45am on Wednesday 16 August police were called to Belair Road, Kingswood after reports two teenage boys had threatened the attended with a knife before leaving with cash and confectionary.

Thankfully the victim was not physically injured.

Patrols with the assistance of PolAir searched the area but could not locate the suspects at the time.

Following investigations, police attended a Campbelltown address this morning and arrested a 15-year-old Campbelltown boy and a 13-year-old Modbury Heights boy.

They were both charged with aggravated robbery and refused police bail. They will both appear in the Adelaide Youth Court today.
