Three people have been arrested after an evade with police in Wantirna South this afternoon.
Police sighted a Volkswagen GTI with no registration plates on Burwood Highway just before 1pm.
Officers attempted to intercept the GTI but it took off towards Scoresby Road.
Police Airwing were quickly overhead and followed the GTI through numerous suburbs until it pulled into a service station on Loughnan Road, Ringwood to re-fuel.
The three occupants were removed from the vehicle and arrested by police.
A 44-year-old Ashburton woman, a 19-year-old Wandin North man and a 25-year-old Ferntree Gully man are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
The Volkswagen was impounded.
