Police arrest three after robbery in Andrews Farm, South Australia

Three people have been arrested after an aggravated robbery at Andrews Farm.

Police will allege that just after 11.30pm on Thursday 9 September, three people forced their way into a house on Stebonheath Road and threatened the occupant.

One of the suspects was armed with a shotgun.

The suspects stole various items including a laptop computer, mobile phone and wallet and then fled the scene in a white Mitsubishi Lancer.

The male victim was not injured.

Patrols searched the surrounding area, and found the car on Whitaker Street in Gawler South about 20 minutes later. The trio attempted to run away, but officers arrested two of the suspects nearby.

The police helicopter and Police Dog Marley were called to the area to locate the third suspect, who was found hiding in a backyard in Fourteenth Street about 1.30am.

A 21-year-old Seaton man, along with a 20-year-old man and 20-year-old woman both from Hewett were charged with serious criminal trespass, aggravated robbery, possess firearm without a licence and unlawful possession.

They were refused bail and will appear in court today.

Police recovered the property stolen from the house, along with the firearm used in the robbery after locating it in the Lancer.
