Police arrest two after robberies at Everard Park

Two people have been arrested after two robberies and an attempted robbery at Everard Park.

Police will allege that about 10.30am today (Sunday 19 March), a man entered the Hungry Jack's on Anzac Highway and threatened staff, demanding cash from the till.

He fled with a small amount of money.

Later today about 1pm, the same male armed with a knife accompanied by a second suspect entered the KFC restaurant next door and demanded cash.

No money was handed over and the two men left the restaurant.

They both went back into the Hungry Jack's and threatened staff, stealing cash from the till.

No one was injured in any of the robberies.

Extra patrols were called to the area and cordons were set up, with the two suspects located on Second Avenue at Forestville.

The two men will face numerous charges including aggravated robbery, assault police and carry offensive weapon.
