Police Arrest Two After Sebastopol Non-fatal Shooting

Armed Crime Squad detectives have this afternoon arrested a man and a woman following a non-fatal shooting in Sebastopol yesterday.

With assistance from the Special Operations Group, a 30-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were taken into custody at a Delacombe address shortly after 1pm.

They will now be interviewed by detectives.

Today's activity follows an incident where a 29-year-old Sebastopol man self-presented to a Ballarat hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his lower body shortly after midnight on Tuesday, 20 January.

Police believe the incident was targeted and that parties involved were known to each other.
