Quotes attributed to Inspector Martin Bourke:

“Theft is never a victimless crime and by targeting sporting clubs, alleged thieves are impacting the lives of those who turn to sport for joy on weekends, including tireless volunteers.

Police will not sit on the sidelines as this happens and today, we have levelled the score against criminals who seek to take advantage of at the organisations at the heart of our community.”
