Frankston Criminal Investigation Unit detectives have arrested two teenagers in relation to the alleged theft of a van from Carrum Downs earlier this month.
It is believed the 2011 HiAce Van was allegedly stolen from the Robin Drive residence sometime between midnight on 15 February and 12pm on 16 February.
The registration plates, YNV 924, were later found on another vehicle in Frankston.
The van was later recovered.
A 16-year-old boy is in currently custody and assisting police with their enquiries.
A 17-year-old girl has been interviewed and released without charge.
The investigation is ongoing.
