Police arrest two for drug trafficking - Unley, South Australia

A man and a woman will face court today on drug trafficking charges after they were arrested yesterday at Unley.

Just after 2pm on Wednesday 28 August, following an investigation by Detectives from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch, they arrested the 47-year-old man from Unley and charged him with 31 counts of trafficking methamphetamine and fantasy.

A 40-year-old woman from Hawthorn was also arrested for one count of possessing methamphetamine for sale.

Both have been refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.

Police will continue to target persons who are allegedly supplying illicit drugs within the community. This investigation, conducted under SAPOL's Operation ATLAS framework, is an example of police actively targeting ICE dealers.
