Police arrest two men after stabbing at Windsor

Two men have been arrested following a stabbing at Windsor this morning.

Just after 3am (Saturday 19 December 2020), emergency services were called to George Street, following reports a man had been stabbed.

Police have been told several people left a licensed venue on George Street before a physical altercation occurred in a car park on Kable Street.

During the incident, a 27-year-old man sustained multiple stab wounds and returned to the venue to seek assistance.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition.

Shortly after, a security guard detained a 20-year-old man, before officers from Hawkesbury Police Area Command arrived and arrested him.

During a search of the man, police allegedly seized a knife.

Following further inquiries, police arrested a second man, aged 25, on Day Street about 3.35am.

Both men have been taken to Windsor Police Station.

Inquiries are continuing.
