Police arrest woman after Traralgon pursuit

Police have arrested a woman following a pursuit in Traralgon this morning.

Officers were speaking to the driver of a LandCruiser at a service station on the Princes Highway when the driver of a BMW allegedly displaying stolen plates pulled in about 12.30am.

The driver of the BMW then allegedly fled, ramming the police vehicle causing extensive damage.

Shortly later, the driver of the LandCruiser also allegedly fled and a pursuit was initiated.

Officers used stop sticks, causing the LandCruiser to come to a stop and the 18-year old driver was arrested.

The Cambellfield woman was conveyed to hospital with minor injuries.

Police continue to search for the driver of the BMW and urge anyone with information to come forward.
