Police arrest woman at Queenstown, South Australia

A woman has been arrested following an assault at Queenstown this morning.

Just after 10am, police and SA Ambulance officers were called to Simpson Avenue after reports a man had been stabbed.

When patrols arrived they located a man with a facial injury. He was treated at the scene before being taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police located a 18-year-old woman at the scene who was arrested over the incident and is currently being interviewed.

The man and woman are known to each other, this is not a random incident.
