Police arrest woman at Salisbury East, South Australia

Police have arrested a woman for breaching the Emergency Management Act at Salisbury East.

Police attended at a home on Harris Road about 2pm on Thursday 9 September after receiving information that the occupant was breaching her home quarantine conditions. The woman is believed to have travelled from NSW into SA on Saturday 4 September.

Police will allege that the woman had left her home and had visitors attend in contravention of her level 5 quarantine requirements.

The woman had previously been issued a caution and one expiation notices for earlier breaches.

A 58-year-old woman was subsequently arrested and charged with breaching the Emergency Management Act. She will appear via video link at the Adelaide Magistrates Court today Friday 10 September.
