Police arrest woman for drug trafficking, South Australia

A woman was arrested yesterday morning for allegedly trafficking drugs into a prison.

Police Corrections detectives arrested a 49-year-old Hendon woman on Thursday 6 February and charged her with trafficking a controlled substance to prisoners at a Northfield correctional facility. The offence is alleged to have occurred in May 2019.

The woman was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 20 March.
