A woman was arrested in a stolen vehicle at Munno Para overnight.
A Haval station wagon was reported stolen by a woman known to the victim from a Salisbury North address just before midnight on Friday 9 October.
The vehicle had onboard tracking and was quickly located by police.
Police tracked the vehicle as it travelled south on Main North Road towards the city. The vehicle drove across the metropolitan area, through the CBD and around the western suburbs before heading back north again.
Just after 2am, police successfully spiked the car's tyres on Main North Road, Dalkeith.
The vehicle then continued slowly before coming to a stop on Koongarra Crescent, Munno Para about 2.15am. The car had two punctured front tyres and collided with the kerb in the dead-end street.
The driver was then arrested without further incident. It will be alleged that police subsequently found a knife in the car.
The 23-year-old Salisbury North woman was charged with driving unlicensed, illegal use, fail to stop, speed dangerous and carry offensive weapon.
She did not apply for bail and is expected to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday.
There were no injuries or damage to other vehicles during this incident.
