Police arrest woman over Campbelltown service station robbery, South Australia

A woman has been arrested after she allegedly used an imitation toy firearm to steal cigarettes from a service station at Campbelltown.

Just before 6.30am on Friday 12 July, a woman allegedly entered a service station on Lower North East Road, threatened staff with an imitation toy firearm, jumped the counter and stole several packets of cigarettes.

The woman then left the area, with police locating the woman a short distance away near Atkell Avenue.

The 35-year-old woman from Paralowie has been arrested and charged with aggravated robbery, she expected to be refused bail and will appear in court later today.

There are no reported injuries from the incident, with police still searching for the imitation toy firearm.
