Police arrest women over assault at Oaklands Park, South Australia

A women has been arrested after she allegedly stabbed a man known to her at Oaklands Park this morning.

Just after 9am Friday 31 January, police and ambulance officers were called to the vicinity of Murray Terrace, following reports of a man being stabbed.

On arrival, police patrols located a 44-year-old man with a laceration to the side of the head. He was treated at the scene at then conveyed taken to the Flinders Medical Centre for treatment. His injury is not considered life threatening.

On investigation, police located the crime scene at a home on Barry Road, arresting a 38-year-old woman for aggravated assault cause harm who is known to the victim.

She is expected to appear in the Christie Beach Magistrates Court later today.
