Police charge four people with aggravated burglary and stealing at Pelverata

Police have charged four people with aggravated burglary and stealing and are seeking public information in relation to suspicious behaviour in Pelverata yesterday.

Around 5.25am yesterday, police from Hobart responded to a report of people acting suspiciously at an address on Pelverata Road at Pelverata. Police ascertained an unoccupied residence and several outbuildings had been burgled.

Further police officers from Kingston attended the scene and assisted with locating four offenders. A vehicle of interest was located at the scene and specialist resources, including CIB and Remote Pilot Aircraft Services (Drone) attended.

A 21-year-old man from Huonville, 26-year-old woman from Port Huon, 33-year-old man from Claremont, and 31-year-old man from Goodwood, were each charged with aggravated burglary and stealing and bailed to appear in Court at a later date.
