Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man as part of their investigation into a fatal shooting in South Yarra in 2019.
The victim, 41-year-old Carnegie man Daniel O'Shea, was located deceased in Fawkner Park on the night of 26 April.
A 35-year-old South Australian man was arrested in Burwood on 21 April 2021.
He has since been interviewed by police and charged with one count of murder.
The man will appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.
