A man will face court charged following an alleged armed robbery in the State's central west at the weekend.
Officers attached to Central West Police District were called to Summer Street, Orange, about 8.30am on Sunday 12 April 2026, following reports of an armed robbery.
On arrival, officers were told a 19-year-old man had allegedly produced a knife and threatened a 28-year-old man, demanding his property.
The man then allegedly ran from the scene and police were called.
Following inquiries, about 4.45pm yesterday (Monday 13 April 2026), police arrested the 19-year-old man at Orange Police Station where he was charged with robbery armed with offensive weapon.
He was refused bail to appear at Local Bail Division Court 4 today (Tuesday 14 April 2026).
