Police charge man after Black Range stabbing

Northern Grampians Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 37-year-old man following an alleged stabbing at Black Range, south of Stawell, yesterday afternoon.

The Black Range man was charged this morning with intentionally cause serious injury and other assault-related offences.

He was remanded in custody to appear in Horsham Magistrates' Court tomorrow.

The charges relate to an incident where a 37-year-old man sustained stab wounds at a caravan park on Monaghan Road about 3.55pm.

He was airlifted to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
