Police charge man after Carnegie burnouts

Prahran Highway Patrol officers have arrested and charged a man following an incident in Carnegie on Saturday.

Police have been told the driver of a silver Ford sedan performed burnouts and donuts on Koornang Road, Carnegie about 1pm on 29 July.

The vehicle was seen to continue to drive erratically and left the area.

Prahran Highway Patrol members made a number of enquires and as a result arrested an 18-year-old man from Altona North on Monday.

He was interviewed and charged with reckless conduct endangering life and other traffic offences.

He has been bailed to appear at Moorabbin Magistrates' Court on 8 November.
