Police charge man after drugs located in unit - Potts Point

A man has been charged with drug offences following a search warrant in Sydney's east yesterday.

About 11.25pm (Saturday 8 August 2020), officers attached to Kings Cross Police Area Command, with the assistance of Operation ODIN, executed a search warrant at a unit on Macleay Street, Potts Point.

Upon searching the unit, police allegedly located and seized 2.2L litres of GBL, MDMA, methylamphetamine, more than $1,000 cash, and two mobile phones.

The drugs have an estimated potential street value of more than $11,000.

A 56-year-old man was arrested at the unit and taken to Kings Cross Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug (commercial quantity), supply prohibited drug (indictable quantity), possess prohibited drug, and knowingly deal with proceeds of crime

He was refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Bail Court today (Sunday 9 August 2020).
