Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of a woman in Hedley on Monday.
Police located a 73-year-old woman deceased on a rural property around 2.30am on 10 August.
Detectives interviewed a 43-year-old Marden man today and charged him with one count of murder.
The man was remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 9 November.
