Campbelltown City detectives have charged a man after a Macquarie Fields home was shot at last month.
Police were called to a home on Petunia Place, Macquarie Fields, on two occasions - about 11.25pm on Monday 3 November 2025 and two days later, about 10.50pm on Wednesday 5 November 2025 - following reports of a shooting.
On both occasions, officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command were told multiple shots had been fired at the house.
There were no injuries reported in either incident.
Campbelltown City detectives established Strike Force Lamm to investigate both incidents.
Following extensive investigations, strike force detectives – with assistance from State Crime Command's Raptor Squad – executed a search warrant at a home in Rosemeadow yesterday (Tuesday 9 December 2025), with police seizing electronic devices.
Following further investigations, detectives attended a second house in Rosemeadow about 9.20pm, where they arrested a 20-year-old man.
He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with two counts of fire firearm at dwelling organised criminal activity, two counts of possess unauthorised prohibited firearm, two counts of be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner, and two counts of participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
The man has been refused bail to appear before Campbelltown Local Court today (Wednesday 10 December 2025).
