Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of a woman in Sandhurst last night.
The 45-year-old Sandhurst man has been charged with one count of murder.
Emergency services were called to an address in Wodalla Circuit about 11.40pm on Saturday, 3 December after reports of an assault.
The 43-year-old woman was located deceased at the property.
A teenage boy was also located with a non-life-threatening head injury and taken to hospital for treatment.
Police arrested the man at the scene, and he will appear in court at a later date.
Investigators believe the parties involved were known to each other.
