Police charge man after series of robberies in Rochester

Campaspe Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 25-year-old man following a series of robberies in Rochester this week.

It is alleged a man robbed a service station in Bendigo on Monday 3 February and stole cash.

It is also alleged the same man committed armed robberies at a bank and service station in Rochester yesterday where staff were threatened and cash stolen.

A Bendigo man has been charged with three counts of robbery and possess a drug of dependence.

He will appear at the Bendigo Magistrates' Court today.
