A man will face court today following an alleged stabbing in Blacktown last weekend.
About 10.20pm (Saturday 26 September 2026), emergency services were called to Blacktown Railway Station, after reports of an assault.
Officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command attended and located a man, aged 32, suffering a stab wound to his arm.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.
On scene, police were told the man was involved in an altercation with another man, who was allegedly armed with a knife, on the platform and tracks.
The man left prior to police arrival; crime scenes were established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident commenced.
Following inquiries, about 10.15am today, (Tuesday 29 September 2026), police arrested a 27-year-old man at Seven Hills Railway Station.
He was taken to Blacktown Police Station and charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possess prohibited drug.
The 27-year-old was refused bail to appear before Blacktown Local Court today.
