Police charge man after stabbing at Seven Hills

A man will face court today after a stabbing in Sydney's west last night.

Emergency services were called to a home on Bulah Way, near Best Road, Seven Hills, just before 10pm (Sunday 15 December 2019), after reports a man had been stabbed.

Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command attended and found a 45-year-old man with stab wounds to his back.

He was taken to Blacktown Hospital by NSW Ambulance paramedics for treatment. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Following inquiries, police arrested a 37-year-old man at a home on Debby Way, Seven Hills, about 10.50pm (Sunday 15 December 2019).

He was arrested and taken to Blacktown Police Station, where he was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

The man was refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court today (Monday 16 December 2019).
