Police Charge Man After Threatening Gesture Outside Place Of Worship - Cremorne

A man will face Court after being charged following an investigation into an alleged threatening gesture outside a place of worship.

Just before 10.00am yesterday (Tuesday 7 October 2025), police were called to Yeo Street, Cremorne after a male was observed to point what was believed to be a firearm from a moving truck towards a place of worship.

About 11.30am officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command arrested two men on Raglan Street, Mosman.

The passenger – a 23-year-old man – was taken to Chatswood Police Station where he assisted with inquiries; however, he has since been released pending further inquiries.

The driver a – 21 -year-old man was released pending further inquiries.

About 3.30pm today (Wednesday 8 October 2025), the 21-year-old man was arrested at Chatswood Police Station and charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm.

The man was granted strict conditional bail to appear before Manly Local Court on Thursday 30 October 2025.
