A man will face court over a break and enter where two vehicles were stolen in Sydney's south last month.
On Wednesday 22 October 2025, officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command commenced an investigation following reports of an alleged break and enter at a home on Yates Road, Bangor.
Police were told between 6pm on Tuesday 21 October 2025 and 8.20am on Wednesday 22 October 2025, unknown people broke into the house before they stole two vehicles – a white Mercedes SUV and a black Mercedes sedan – and left the scene.
A crime scene was established, and police commenced an investigation into the incident.
About 12pm on the same day, police located the sedan abandoned Koorabar Road, Bangor.
The SUV was also located about 4.30pm on the same day on Beaufort Street, Guildford.
Both vehicles were seized to be forensically examined.
Following further inquiries, about 11.50am yesterday (Thursday 6 November 2025), officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command, with the assistance from South West Metropolitan Region Operations Support Group (OSG), executed a search warrant at a home on Grove Street, Guildford, where, they arrested a 32-year-old man and seized a number of motorcycles, mobile phone devices and identification documents for a forensic examination.
He was taken to Granville Police Station where he was charged with enter inclosed land not prescribed premises without lawful excuse, aggravated break and enter dwelling etc in company steal less than or equal to $60000, take and drive conveyance without consent of owner (two counts), not comply P2 licence condition not display P plates, goods suspected stole in/on premises (two counts), and fail to comply digital evidence access order direction.
He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today (Friday 7 November 2025).
