Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 32-year-old man following the discovery of a woman's body in Melbourne CBD this morning.
The woman's body was located at the intersection of Little Bourke Street and Celestial Avenue just after 6.30am.
Detectives have charged the Cowes man with one count of murder.
He will remain in custody tonight and is expected to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court tomorrow afternoon.
