Police Charge Man for Recklessly Endangering in Kakadu

Northern Territory Police Domestic and Family Violence Unit have charged a 39-year-old man with recklessly endanger serious harm at a Kakadu Outstation on Monday.

Police received reports of family members engaged in a violent altercation where a man has hit his relative with a car before fleeing the community. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Royal Darwin Hospital for treatment.

Yesterday, police located and arrested the man travelling along Nourlangie Road in Kakadu.

He was charged with:

  • Recklessly Endanger Serious Harm - Aggravated
  • Drive manner dangerous.
  • Not stop after crash.
  • Drive unregistered and uninsured.

He was further remanded to appear in Darwin local Court on 6 June 2023.
