Police Charge Man Over 2022 Murder - Dulwich Hill

A man will face court charged over the murder of a woman three years ago in Sydney's Inner West.

About 9.20am on Monday 11 July 2022, emergency services responded to reports of a unit fire on Denison Road, Dulwich Hill.

Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the fire where the body of a woman was locaed inside the unit.

Officers from Inner West Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident under Strike Force Gilti.

The woman was later identified as 44-year-old Danielle Foster.

Following extensive inquiries a 34-year-old man- known to the woman - attended Surry Hills Police Station yesterday (Tuesday 16 December 2025) where he was charged with murder and damage property by fire/explosion >$ 5000 &

The Morisset Park man was refused bail to appear at the Downing Centre Local Court today (Wednesday 17 December 2025).
