Police charge man over aggravated break and enters - Wolli Creek

A man has been charged over four alleged aggravated break and enter offences at Wolli Creek.

About 3.10am on Friday 3 May 2019, a group of men attended the underground area of a unit complex on Brodie Spark Drive, Wolli Creek, and stole items from a storage cage.

Further offences were committed in the underground area of a unit complex on Willis Street, Wolli Creek, on the 2nd, 5th and 10th of July 2019, during which numerous items were stolen.

Officers from St George Proactive Crime Team have been investigating the incidents.

About 8.15am on Thursday 22 August 2019, investigators executed a search warrant at the home of a 39-year-old man on Denison Street, Arncliffe, seizing several items.

Yesterday (Friday 6 September 2019), the 39-year-old man was arrested at St George Police Station and charged with aggravated break and enter (x4), drive whilst cancelled, passenger fail/refuse to disclose identity (x2), and driver not disclose identity of driver/passenger.

He was refused bail to appear in Sutherland Local Court yesterday (Friday 6 September 2019), where he was remanded in custody to reappear in the same court on Tuesday 8 October 2019.
